Polo shirts are available in either short sleeves or long sleeves, and have both cuffs and a collar; today’s shirts are also made with the best wicking material, to ensure good performance during athletic competition.

Other standard pieces of a golf fancy dress clothes wardrobe include a hat or visor to shield the sun during nice weather. For playing in not-so-nice weather, golfing windbreakers are appropriate, and are often water proof to protect from the elements. Finish off the look with a pair of appropriate golf shoes with spikes on the bottom to give you the right grip for your game.
